The Design Process

To create a successful event, your guests should be enthralled from the moment they receive their invitation. Excite your guests and give them a sense of what’s to come with a range of stationery designed especially for you by Diva by Design.

The creative design process is a very personal one that one our Designers will take a vested interest in and it is our aim to provide a personalised service to ensure your stationery reflects your vision. To accomplish this our process is as follows:

  1. Consultation

    One of our Designers will contact you to arrange a suitable time to have a one-on-one chat with you about your vision and requirements. At this first consultation our Designer will be go through samples and work out your preferences regarding accessories, embellishments, colours and so on. This will include filling out a Client Questionnaire with our Designer. For those living in the Hunter Valley/Newcastle area this can be done in person with our Designer coming to you if preferred. For those outside of this area this can be done via phone calls and email. In preparation for your consultation we recommend you review the information in our "What to Consider" page.
  2. Samples & Quote

    2-3 samples are created based on the initial consultation. These samples will take into consideration your specific requirements and budget. The samples are presented to you along with quotes. At this point it will be possible to combine various aspects from each sample if preferred to come up with the final sample.
    If necessary a final quote may be provided.
  3. Proof

    The final proof is presented and at this point you will be required to proof read any text/information and sign off to say all information is correct (proof reading is the clients responsibility).
  4. Quote Sign Off

    The quote is signed off on, and a 30% non-refundable deposit will be required to commence creating your stationery set. Any additional changes to the design or text content after sign off shall be charged to the client.
  5. Time Line

    A time line will be prepared for you based around your delivery date requirements (see "What to Consider" for further details). Progressive Payment* options will also be discussed and set at this time.
  6. Creation

    Creation of your stationery commences.
  7. Delivery

    Delivery shall be as per the Time Line set down in Step 5.
